Compassionate online therapy in Virginia & Florida for women and LGBTQ+ folks who are juggling it all—parenting, relationships, career—while trying not to lose themselves in the process.

I help women and LGBTQ+ folks untangle the overwhelm, make sense of their emotions, and reconnect with who they truly are—so they can feel confident, grounded, and at peace in their own lives.

For the Woman and Queer Folks Who are Juggling It All (and Starting to Feel Like It’s Too Much)
You worked so hard to build the life you thought you were supposed to have. You’re hardworking, resilient, and always there for everyone else. But no matter how much you give, it never feels like enough. You feel stretched thin. Overwhelmed. Like you’re running on empty.
You hold it all together—your career, your family, the never-ending to-do list—but inside, you’re exhausted. Constantly worrying. Maybe even unsure of who you really are underneath the “I’ve got it all together” mask.
There’s this nagging feeling that you should be handling it better. That you should be more patient, more present, more everything. Not in every area of life, but in the places that really matter—your relationships, your family, your sense of self.
And then, just when you thought you left the past behind, it starts creeping back in. The things you pushed down for so long are resurfacing—especially since becoming a parent. You see echoes of your own childhood in ways you never expected, and it’s getting harder and harder to ignore.
The overwhelm, self-doubt, and anxiety are starting to block you from the life you want. You don’t just want to get by—you want to feel alive again. To feel confident, at peace, and finally like yourself.
But a part of you is afraid. Afraid that if you really felt it all, it might break you. That if you let go of the “superwoman” act, everything might fall apart.
But it doesn’t have to be like this.

Like my clients, you deserve to feel more like yourself—to find calm, clarity, and even joy again.
Recognizing your feelings before they overwhelm you and making space to process everything you've carried is not out of reach.
If you want to learn how to be there for others without losing yourself—and create a life that actually feels like yours—I’d love to walk alongside you to help you get there.
Welcome.
I’m Brittany Deutch, LPC, ATR-BC, a Virginia-based therapist, art therapist, workshop leader and process painter.
For a long time, I went through life pretending like I had it all together, when on the inside, my mind didn’t know how to turn off.
Though this is a continued journey, I am passionate about creating a space for women and LGBTQIA folks to explore those inner parts of themselves that say “I am not enough,” and grow towards loving and healing oneself to the point where they can shout back,
“Oh hell yes I am!”
Specialties
-
Anxiety
Anxiety often shows up as this constant buzzing that wont go away. It’s the tightness in your chest or the racing thoughts that take you out of the present moment and into the fear of the unknown.
-
Life Transition/Self-Discovery
Navigating this journey called life, with all its twists and turns. Maybe this isn’t how you imagined life to be. Maybe you have a desire to start a new path or maybe you have a yearning to finally meet yourself for the first time.
-
Trauma
Healing from trauma is like piecing together a shattered mirror, reflecting not just the scars but the strength that's emerged from the journey. Together, we can create a space to look at those pieces, find a clarity on how they continue to impact us, and rediscover the beauty that's always been within.
“Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
